Our goal is to help women and families to give them a chance to improve their lives by offering them training in stitching and basic medical care. Martha B. Förch founded Shoshana. She lives in the United States and visits India regularly to check on all the centers, Once a year Martha travels to Germany to meet with donors and friends and attends the Shoshana‘s annual board meeting.
Bindu Hima Katta has been in charge of Shoshana's office in India since 2000 (known as Community Development Society - CDS Shoshana). She oversees and visits all our projects and takes care of the administration. You can find her reports in Bindu's Blog with the most recent pictures and updates.
After being involved with Shoshana for many years, Gertraud Zeisberger was elected as President in February 2022. Every month Gertraud and some of her friends support two centers in the Sugalie Colonie in Chilakaluripet.
